Marissa Is Edward D Jr.’s daughter. She grew up watching her dad serve those in need and is grateful to be able to continue the service. Growing up, she often worked

weekends with her father and knew at 18 she wanted to follow in his footsteps. Prior to

being a Licensed Funeral Director, Marissa received a Master’s Degree in Social work and worked for many years with Individuals diagnosed with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Marissa became a mother in 2025 and while she hopes that her daughter will want to be a fourth generation Funeral Director, she won’t push her to continue the family tradition.
